Sand and Sawdust Chainsaw Carving | Tourism Ocean Shores

The Sand and Sawdust Festival continues to grow every year. This year’s Chainsaw Art Show and Auction will feature over 30 professional wood carvers from around the globe creating nearly 100 magnificent chainsaw sculptures!

Auctioneer (and carver) Ryan Anderson is nationally and internationally known. From Oregon, Ryan practices and competes not only throughout the west but also in Canada, England and Scotland. “The thrill I get from competing is unlike any experience: the buzzing of surrounding chainsaws, the inspiration of the sculpture I’m creating and the music in my ears keeps my adrenaline rushing. I’m pushing my creative mind alongside the limits of chainsaw, working to get to the next level of sculpting.”

All chainsaw carving, music crafters and food vendors are at the Ocean Shores Convention Center.
